If I get the Motorola c290 Nextel sprint version, can I use it to activate a boost mobile account? I know boost mobile phone makes a will the Motorola c290 and it is the same thing, and that's where my question arises from.

boost mobile, service questions.?
I want to buy a (T-Mobile Nokia 1661) we opened it and run it to boost mobile network. I bought a boostmobile GSM SIM card on eBay but im a bit confused. Boost mobile offers 2 networks, CDMA and IDEN according to their coverage map http://www.boostmobile.com/coverage/ I us, I called the customer representative 1888boost4u but it sounded like he didn't know anything about it, I said "if this Boost Mobile says its U.S. "So can you tell me if it works. I also just want to boost their mobile internet service @ $ 0.35/day please tell me whether you or is or know about their internet service tell me how it is @ a scale of 1 to 10 1 lowest 10 highest. My main question is can I use boostmobile sim card in any unlocked GSM phone? or it wont work because its a different network? Thank you.
strengthen the SIM card is for the iDEN phone ... they are not compatible with GSM phones or GSM Sim card ...

Sprint Nextel against the same phone plan?
I have Sprint and want to add a Nextel phone to my family plan. I said no because it is a Nextel phone. Not sure Sprint and Nextel the same company? Why not have the same phone from the same family plan?
When Sprint bought Nextel, all thought it was a very strange because getting two companies vastly different use of cell phone technology. The ultimate plan is to merge technology and form one company but plans were put on hold. A large technical issues, it is predicted that CDMA and iDen is not fused until the new 4.5G or 4G tech is developed. Sprint is likely to dump Nextel before that happens because of the large amount of work occurred.

BOOST is a mobile SIM, work with a Nextel phone?
The BOOST Mobile SIM is a 64k card. SIM ID: 000825705793300 at Side: SIMGBK015R. When strengthen the SIM card is installed in Motorola Nextel ic602 Buzz + phone, the message onscreen reading; "Insert correct SIM. SIM card does not match account stored information. "SIM card before the Nextel Moto. phone is not active now but it is the information for it. 128k SIM card, SIM ID: 000815842400330 at Side: SIMGUS103R. Hi Stephanie, It will not work. The ic602 is a dual mode CDMA / IDEN phones. IC ic602 stands in iDEN / CDMA. The i425 is an iDEN only phone. The ic602 is a security feature called SIM Pairing that prevents a user from swapping any SIM other than holders of accounts with a SIM iDEN / CDMA dual-mode units to protect the CDMA voice and data on the account from being used. Additional SIM pairing of information: * defensive on account of a user as well as their data. * Protect a user from mixing of a CDMA handset to a user account SIM with another user and therefore the Nextel account shipping. * Nextel relations account of a subscriber to the CDMA handset in their account. * The SIM phone is paired in time first power up the phone.
